What is it all about?
Simple, it’s all about speaking a language through FUN!
We are passionate about speaking (not learning) languages at a young age. Primary aged children don’t learn languages with us they ‘absorb’ it through games, role playing, creative art, songs, culture and mostly, simple FUN!
How does it work?
All our Little Lingua’s get together to meet and greet in Spanish and French, it’s an International melting pot! This is similar to what your child will be exposed to on Holidays. We all say simple ‘Bonjour’s and Hola’s , with a bit more expansion as the week progresses!
We then spilt into age appropriate groups 1st – 3rd and 4th – 6th class and then into French and Spanish class.
Each class will have a 45min class in either French or Spanish. Our teachers are a combination of native speakers, and experienced teachers who work in the Irish schools system.
Lunch time, is an opportunity to teach your child about typical foods in France and Spain
Afternoons will be another 45 min class and then lots of Fun outdoor activities, like French Pétanque (Boule), Bilboquet (Cup and Ball) Rayuela ( Spanish Hopscotch) Escondite (Hide and Seek) Football, CoCo Channel Fashion show, Arts and Crafts
Last Day of Camp will be a Baking Day, making lots of French and Spanish Treats!
